Edivate, the new name for the new PD 360, is a district-wide initiative for professional learning. It is led by the Haywood County Professional Development Design Team. The vision of professional learning in Haywood County is to provide all educators with the necessary tools to increase student achievement by enhancing content, pedagogy, and student learning at a level that will prepare all students for college and the global workforce.
The mission of professional learning in Haywood County is to create a culture of job-embedded, on-going professional learning that will encourage growth and collaboration through opportunities that are [1] teacher-led, [2] teacher-driven, and [3] teacher-implemented.
